* The school literary magazine, Break from Reality, is currently accepting submissions for the 2010 publication of our magazine. We are accepting up to three submissions of poetry and artwork and one short story per student. Students can email poetry and short stories to tlo4@zips.uakron.edu or submit a hard copy to Mr. T. O’Neil in the Polsky building in room 236. The deadline for submissions is the end of March. Contact Mr. T. O’Neil if you have any questions.
*On March 9th, we are excited to have The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio present an interactive performance that follows a young immigrant on her journey to Ellis Island. This presentation will be given to our freshman class.
*There will be a fundraiser at Chik-fil-A on Thursday March 4th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is the Chik-fil-A on Howe Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls. Bring out your families and friends for a fun time and good food to support the AECHS National Honor Society! 10% of all inside sales will go to NHS, and all donations given at the "Dollar Wheel" will go directly to NHS. Please come out to support your school and get some good food!
